Background:

SSE Contracting is one of the country's leading Mechanical & Electrical contractors - operating from 55 regional offices and employing 3,500 experienced engineers and electricians nationwide.

Challenge:

It was one of perception: customers wrongly believing that because SSE Contracting was a part of the large SSE Group, it could not provide essential electrical and mechanical building services as competitively as the local 'man in his white van'.

Solution:

A sales support program tailored to promote the service expertise that exists within each local branch; plus humanised the communications by giving the customer information about the branch engineers, one of whom would make the initial site visit. Ongoing campaign work includes an extensive personalised URL (Purl) lead generation program to identify new sales revenue opportunities within both existing customer and prospect audiences.
